Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Legend Innovators: Legend Innovators (OPC) Private Limited.
• Business Day: A day on which banks and financial institutions are open for business in India.
• Project-Based Services: Services rendered under a specific project scope and timeline.
• Retainer Agreements: Ongoing service agreements with a recurring payment structure.
• LICON: Legend Innovators Consortium.
• Services Rendered: Work completed and delivered to the Client.
• Project-Based Services: Cancellations must be made at least 30 business days prior to the project start date. Cancellations made after this deadline are generally non-refundable.
Exceptions may apply depending on the project's stage of completion and any work already performed (see Section 3).
• Retainer Agreements: Cancellations require 90 business days' written notice.
The refund, if applicable, will be calculated pro-rata based on the remaining unused portion of the contract, excluding the retainer fee for the notice period.
• Application Processing Fee (LICON): The Application Processing Fee for LICON membership is non-refundable.
• Project-Based Services: If cancelled more than 30 business days before the start date, a refund of [Specify Percentage – e.g., 50%] of the pre-paid amount will be issued.
Refunds for cancellations within the 30-day period will be determined on a case-by-case basis considering the level of work completed.
• Retainer Agreements: Refunds are calculated pro-rata based on the unused portion of the contract, excluding the retainer fee for the notice period.
• No Refunds for Completed Services: No refunds will be issued for services fully completed and delivered.
• Processing Time: Refunds are typically processed within 30 business days of receiving a valid cancellation request. Banking processing times may affect this timeframe.
• Method of Refund: Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
Legend Innovators reserves the right to withhold refunds if:
• The cancellation is due to a client breach of contract (e.g., failure to provide necessary information or cooperate).
• Outstanding payments or financial obligations exist.
• The cancellation is deemed frivolous or without legitimate cause.
In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, acts of war, government restrictions), Legend Innovators will determine the appropriate course of action on a case-by-case basis, striving for an equitable resolution.
Legend Innovators reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. The updated policy will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
This policy is governed by the laws of India.
